Tim's New Niner

Here is a build we did for a member of the Chainsmokers team. We think it turned out pretty nice!

Niner One9. Perfect for those looking to race a single speed.

Reba fork up front keeps things smooth.

The One9 is made with custom drawn Easton GX2 Scandium tubing. making it a super light frame. Complete bike weight is 23lbs! And it could be built a lot lighter.

This bike was built with budget, durability and weight all in mind. The specs of the bike try to hit the sweet spot between all three of these. Paul hubs, and Arch rims make for a strong, durable, yet fairly light wheel choice. We chose Shimano SLX brakes to slow things down. Shimano discs are always smooth and reliable.

Good message to anybody looking to go fast!
We used a PRO headset, nice sealed headset. And yes the arrow is pointing the correct way:
Thanks for looking!

Co-Motion Espresso

Co-Motion makes some fantastic bikes, both tandems and "single" bikes. Most of the Co-Motions that go out of here at Willy Bikes are either tandems or touring/commuter bikes. However, they also make some really great road bikes, like the Espresso.

The Espresso is a classic steel road bike with modern touches, like slightly sloping geometry and a carbon fork. All with the smooth feel of steel. Oh and the bike weighs 17.35lbs (without pedals).

Not only is the Espresso light and smooth, it looks good too!

Co-Motion does great work with their paint jobs.

King headset and clean welds go well together.

The Espresso we have on the floor is built with a Shimano Ultegra 6700 group.

Ritchey WCS stem and bar are light, stiff and offer a nice bend that works well with the Ultegra 6700 levers.

The Espresso frame is well thought out with features like a pump peg.

The Espresso has replaceable dropouts that can be changed to horizontal ones so that the bike can be ridden as a single speed or geared.

Overall the Espresso, like all of Co-Motion's bikes, is a great package that is highly versatile and rides fantastic.

Stop in and take a Co-Motion for a test ride, but be warned, you'll love it!

Moot Vamoots Build

We recently built up a Moot Vamoots frame we had in stock. This bike was built for the floor so stop in and check it out!

We couldn't help but select Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 parts for this beautiful frame. We finished it off with Ritchey WCS stem, bars and seat post, Fizik saddle and hed wheels. We think it turned out pretty nice!

As always, Moot's welds are perfect on the Vamoots.

Shimano Dura-Ace drive train offers exceptional shifting performance.

Pretty cool head badge.

If you are looking for a Moots of your own stop in and we'll be happy to discuss the options!

New Bikes

The season has started here at Willy bikes! That means we're busy, which is a good thing.
We've recently got a ton of new bikes in that are really awesome. I didn't have the time to snap pictures of all of them, but here are two that stand out.

A few weeks ago we got our first shipment of Salsa Mukluk's (yes we know that its spring and not winter any more) and El Mariachi's. Both bikes are super cool and ride great! We're really impressed with all that Salsa is offering for 2011.

Clean welds.

Salsa's new Kung Fu tubing.

The El Mariachi is a pretty nice package, hand built Stans Arch rims...

Maxle front hub/QR makes for a very stiff and responsive front end.

2 x 10 drive train.

Mukluk!

Want to ride over anything? Mukluk is the bike for you!

3.8 tires, those are some big tires!

With those big tires, you need a big wide rim. Graceful might be a bit of a stretch.

Wide front spacing allows for more clearance.

We also have been continuing to get more new Cannondales in.
We just got in this week the new 2011 Super Six 1.

Mat black always looks cool.

Doesn't get any better, Shimano Dura-Ace

The Super Six 1 is a pretty sweet package, even the finishing parts are nice. One of our favorite saddles, Fizik Arione.

The BB30 BB and crank offer a very stiff platform for transferring power!

More Dura-Ace.

Thanks for looking! Stop in the either of our stores to check out ALL the new bikes!
