Everybody knows that the wheel is an important part of a bike. What people don't always realize is that wheels can have a huge impact on how your bike feels. A bad pair of wheels can make your bike feel slow and heavy, a good pair can make it feel light, fast and nimble.

Here at Willy Bikes we carry a large selection of wheels. On top of that we have ridden or raced just about every brand out there. As a result we have a pretty good idea of what wheel works best for just about any application.

Ortlieb

Madison, as many reading this know, is a great city to ride in. As a result its common place to commute by bike in Madison. Here at Willy Bikes we love commuting (and just about every other kind of riding!) and we carry a lot of gear to make commuting easier and more enjoyable! Whether it is fenders, a rack, or a new bike we’ve got you covered.

One product that we have been particularly impressed by, and is great for commuting, is Ortlieb bags. Ortlieb is a German company that makes some of the best bags in the world. All of their bags are totally water proof and their bike panniers use one of the best mounting systems around. These features make them a great choice for a riders looking to commute all year and in all conditions.

Showers Pass

Here at Willy Bikes we are bike nuts. Usually when something new comes in everybody has to check it out and see what they think. It's been a while since we got a product in that has got as much attention, by employees, as our most recent Showers Pass order has. It seems that just about everybody around the shop has tried something on or at least taken it off the hanger!

Showers Pass has some amazing products and to really give the product justice it needs to be seen in person. However, the next best thing is pictures! So I asked Neil to do some modeling for us and we took some pictures of a few of the new products we just got in.
